I have not read the second book in this amazing series, but I did enjoy the first one. I haven't read many zombies books before, so to me this is a joy to look forward to. The characters in this first book where very well done and they showed a lot of emotion. I know they aren't sequels but companies to each other which I like a lot. I do look forward to reading the second book and the third.

Just thought i would point out that it's called the dark and hOllow places not the dark and hAllow places :)
