Book Review: NightShade by Andrea Cremer

Hello everyone! Today I finished reading NightShade by Andrea Cremer, which is the first book in her new series. The second book is called WolfsBane. Here is the review:

+++++
Plot:
Calla Tor has always known her destiny: After graduating from the Mountain School, she'll be the mate of sexy alpha wolf Ren Laroche and fight with him, side by side, ruling their pack and guarding sacred sites for the Keepers. But when she violates her masters' laws by saving a beautiful human boy out for a hike, Calla begins to question her fate, her existence, and the very essence of the world she has known. By following her heart, she might lose everything— including her own life. Is forbidden love worth the ultimate sacrifice?

Review:
The cover alone makes the book amazing, but we all know that what  is inside really matters. Inside theses pages Cremer shows us a world of wolfs different then the ones we have all grown up read. In this world love doesn't matter and the one thing everyone cares about is surviving the next day. There is magic, blood, and forbidden passion that makes this book running. Calla is a fantastic main character. She is smart, fun, and a great fighter. There was a few problems with her that bothered me, but over all she was nice to read about. Shay was funny, smart, and serious all at once. He has some dark secrets that are left unanswered, that make this book even better. Finally there is Ren who throw out it all still cared about Calla and still loved her no matter what. In this book you could really tell the tension between all the characters and how much everyone just wants to be free. I give this book a 4/5.
