Book Review: Misguided Angel by Melissa de la Cruz

Hello everyone! Today I finished reading Misguided Angel by Melissa de la Cruz, which is the fifth book in the Blue Blood series. If you haven't read the first four books in this series I would not continue readng this review. Here is the review:

~~~~~~
Plot: After inheriting the dark Vaen Alen Legacy, Schuyler fled ti Florence with her foribidden love, Jack. Now the two of them must embark on the mission Schuyler was destined to complete: to find and protect the five remaining gates that gaurd the earth from Lucifer, lord of the Silver Bloods.
Back in New York, Mimi has been elected Regent of the crumbling coven. Struggling with her heartache over the loss of Kingsley and with her overwhelming desire to destroy Jack, she must focus all her energy on a perilous new threat. Vampires are being abducted and their captors are planning to burn them alive online...for all the world to see. Help arrives in the form of Deming Chen, a Venator from Shanghai, who must untangle the web of deceptions before the killers strike again.
As the young vampires struggle for the survival of the coven, they uncover a deadly secret, a truth first discovered by Schuyler's mother during the Renaissance but kept buried for centuries. And as the Blue Blood enclave weakens yet further, fate leads Schuyler to a terrible choice that will ultimately map the destiny of her heart.
Review: For such a small book it did pack a lot of action. This book was good, but the last book was still better, since this one just didn't have that much information and was much smaller then the forth book. In the last book we know Schuyler and Jack leave New York to find the gates and not let Lucifer try to escape like he tried to do in book four. It was fun reading and Jack and Schuyler again with the relationship, but it also was the shortest story between all three vampires. Mimi's was the most interesting because of the problem with the kidnapping of the vampire and also with her rage, and grief eating her inside. Deming was a amazing character to read with her smart thinking and action fighting skills. I will be looking forward to reading more about her. I give this book a 4/5.
