IMM!

*In My Mailbox is a weekly thing made by the Story Siren*Hello! Today IMM I got a ARC Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick. Yay!
I recieved this book from Barnes&Nobles because they are going to have a
discusion on this book with the author. I am not allowed to make a review on the ARC, but I will make a review on the finished copy when it finally hits stores on Oct. 10, 2010. Crescendo is the second book in the Hush, Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick. If you haven't read the first book I wouldn't read any further if I were you.


Plot: Nora Frey should have known her life was far from perfect. Even though her boyfriend, Patch, also happens to be her literal guardian angel (who, despite the title, is far from angelic), things are not looking up. First these is summer school and facing the nightmare of her enemy Marcie Millar as her lab partner. Then Patch starts to pull away with no explanation. And finally, she is having nightmares and visions about her father's murder.

As Nora chooses to ignore her instincts and delves deeper into the mystery of her father's death, she also begins to question whether her Nephilm bloodline has something to so with it, which casts more doubt on her relationship (or lack thereof) with Patch. Does he know more then he lets on? Why does he always seem to be standing in front of the answers she is looking for? And id he really is her guardian angel, why is her life always in danger?
