My favorite author is J.K. Rowling because her books make me feel as though I'm living in an entirely different world and they are always full of action. It made me really sad when the Harry Potter series ended because I wish I could read more of her writing. I just think she's an amazing author.

My favorite author is Stephenie Meyer. All of the hype about the Twilight Saga is greatly deserved by her. She created a perfect series that was supernatural, but also blended in the teenage troubles and worries that a lot of YA novels are missing today. I really loved the hot and cold relationship between Edward and Bella, and in New Moon, when Jacob was thrust into the story, it really made for an interesting and juicy love triangle that I think, was a major book that added a fresh new love traingle... (I also really loved the constant rage between the vampires and the werewolves....) I also love how Stephenie Meyer blended in really rich and mysterious mythology that really made the story juicy and a great forbidden love saga.

Hmmm...there are so many great authors it is hard to pick. My all time favorites are Stephanie Meyer and J.K. Rowling but I am also loving Anna Godberson right now.

My fav author at the moment (and for the past 2 years)is Cassandra Clare.She is brilliant when it comes to a great writing style and a thrilling story. I am in love with the main character in her TMI series Jace and swoon for Will, the hero in her newest series. She knows how to provoke fangirl-ness:D

I really like Julie Kagawa. I already read the first book in the series The Iron Fey, and I loved it! The story is awesome, and really nice. The characters are really unique... And Ash... OMG... I love Ash...
But, of course, there is a lot of great writers out there I don't know.

My favorite author right now is a debut author named Jillian Larkin, who is the author of Vixen: The Flapper Series, because any author who can make me love a book set in an era that I would probably never read about is definitely a great and talented author. Her writing is great and she tells a story that captures the reader throughout the whole book. One of my favorite books for 2010.
