Book Review: Iron King by Julie Kagawa

Hello, Everyone! I just finished reading The Iron King by Julie Kagawa, which is the 1st book in The Iron Fey series. I hope you like my review!

^^^
Plot:

Meghan Chase
has a secret destiny-
one she could never have imagined...

Something has always felt slightly off in Meghan's life, ever since her father disappeared before her eyes when she was six. She has neevr quite fit in at school... or at home.
When a dark stranger begins watching her from afar, and her prankster best friend becomes strangely protective of her, Meghan senses that everything she's known is about to change.

But she could never have guessed the truth- that she is the daugter of a mythical faery king and is a pawn in a deadly war. Now Meghan will learn just how far she'll go to save someone she cares about, to stop a mysterious evil no faery creature dare face... and to find love wit a young prince who might rather see her dead than let her touch his icy heart.

Review: Wow! To me this book reminded a mixture of Alice in Wonderland and Narnia all put in one book, with a few faeries here and there. It's an amazing story filled with adventure, romance, and magic. I couldn't put book down and everywhere I went I had to take it with me. I love the characters so much and Meghan's best friend Puck, is one of the funniest characters I have ever read. I did enjoy the long adventure they went on and it didn't seem boring at all as the book was coming to a end. The idea of this story and the plot all together is amazing. I have to say Julie Kagawa is most defaintly in one of my top 5 favorite authors. I give this book a 5/5.

Book Review: Linger by Maggie Stiefvater

Hi, Everyone! Big news! I finished Linger by Maggie Stiefvater, which is the second book in the Wolves of Mercy Falls series and the first book is Shiver. So if you haven't read the first book please don't read any further. So here is my review on Linger:

Plot:

The longing.

Once Grace and Same found each other they know they must fight to stay together. For Sam, this means a reckoning with his werewolf past. For Grace, it means facing a future that is less and less certain.

The loss.

Into their world comes a new wolf named Cole, whose past is full of hurt and danger. He is wrestling with is own demons, embracing the life of a wolf while denying the ties of being human.

The linger.

For Grace, Same, and Cole life is a constant struggle between to forces - wolf and human - with love baring its two sides as well. It is harrowing and euphoric, freeing and entrapping, enticing and alarming. As their world falls apart, live is what lingers. But will it be enough?

Review: The best werewolf series I have ever read. I truly don't know what else to say besides that one sentence. Amazing? Fantastic? Great? But those words can't even describe Grace's and Sam's story. The way they struggle through life has no words. It's to hard to tell and the only way to help people understand is to read this book. These books Shiver and Linger showed me a world of people with problems that seem to never be able to get fixed. The relationship is out of this world for Grace and Sam, I'm not sure anyone in this real world can have a love Grace and Sam have. The characters were very interesting and I enjoyed with all my heart to read once more about them and also the new character Cole, who's life story also changed me and made me look at a person like him in a whole new way that I never thought I could do. Cole's mouth made me laugh every time he talk and some times I just felt like going into the book and giving him a high five for what he just said. Isabel is also still amazing in this book and maybe even a bit little more. It really shows who she is in this book, but still has her normal self at the same time. The plot at the beginning to me was like it shouldn't be there, for the way Shiver ending it didn't seem like there should be a second book, but after reading this and reading their story one more time I understand why she needed to make a second book, because to me I'm not sure Grace and Sam's story will ever really end, in some way their story will just keep asking questions on what is going to happen next? So to sum up all those words I give this book a 5/5, which if I could I would give it the biggest number in the world. So please if you haven't read Linger, yet then please and I truly mean this, please go out and buy it cause you are missing something that I can't even explain.

Book Review: The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas (Classic)

Hello, everyone! I am so sorry I haven't made a review on a book for a long time. Things have been happening in my life that it's been hard to read, but I finally finished reading The Count of Monte Cristo and I'm back on board for reading! I was also requested to review this book, but I will not make a review on The Count of Monte Cristo on my youtube account. mostly because I have other things I would like to do on there. Here is my review, enjoy!

~~~
Plot: Dashing young Edmond Dantes had everything. He is engaged to a beautiful woman, is about to become the captain of a ship, and is well liked by almost everyone. But his perfect like is shuttered when he is framed by a jealous rival and thrown into a dark prison cell for fourteen years.
Review: Beauty, power, love, and revenge. Those are the four words that describe the Count of Monte Cristo. To read about a young man, just about to become captain of a ship and a husband to a beautiful woman, then framed for something he didn't do was sad, but interesting in many ways. I loved the detail of everything the author wrote and the journey of this man was fantastic. I enjoyed every character, to learn about their pasts and then to see them of what they are again is amazing. Think of the revenge like this, when you pour a bucket of cold water on someone they don't just pour a normal bucket of cold water back at you, no they take a old, moldy bucket filled horribly disgusting, cold water and then pour in on you, and that's just what Edmond did, he gave his revenge ten times worse then anyone could have gave anyone. I have never read anything so different in my life and like it this much. I give this book a 5/5, but I swear if I could give a higher rating I would.
